Hi, I’m Susan — an educator, writer, and creative mind passionate about helping others explore careers, cultivate mindfulness, and embrace the power of storytelling.

By day, I’m a Career Exploration Educator, guiding middle school students through hands-on experiences that spark curiosity and inspire their futures. With a background in business, finance, and education, I believe that real-world learning and career readiness should be both practical and engaging. My classroom is more than a space—it’s a launchpad for young minds to explore endless possibilities.

Beyond teaching, I’m a writer and content creator, blending my love for storytelling with a mission to inspire. Whether it’s crafting children’s books with heartwarming lessons, mindfulness-focused coloring books, or witty, real-life reflections on modern dating, my words are meant to connect, uplift, and entertain. I believe stories have the power to shape perspectives, encourage growth, and bring joy.

I’m also the creator behind Exit the Chaos, a social media platform dedicated to mindfulness, intentional living, and creative reset moments. Just like sunflowers turn towards the sun, we can turn toward peace, mindfulness, and creativity even in life’s most chaotic moments. 

When I’m not teaching, writing, or creating, you can find me spending time with my friends, family, and my three cats, diving into true crime stories, enjoying my weekly Mexican food tradition, or overanalyzing life’s quirks with a healthy dose of sarcasm and humor.
